Headphones Test App Reviews

Complete lying garbage

This doesnt test ANYTHING. You rate your own headphones!! SCAM!

Ok, but not enough features

It does the job, it helps you test frequencies and a small music sample. It would be easily improved with a test for L and R separated, and the possibility of running again each test without having to go trough the whole testing procedure.

Totally useless

I thought this would give you a frequency response curve for your headphones. Instead it gives you a scale of one to five for a rating.

VERY USEFUL

★★★★★ It gives you frequency response (in Hertz) for your headphones. It has separate test for low and high freq. Surround test is really cool as well.

Over priced

There are better products out there that are free.

Cool beans

Needs some work

The app is unusable on the new iPad, the graphic is expanded and there is no way to navigate the screen. That said it being a universal app it did download to my iPhone via iCloud. It ran well there testing frequency response on both ends. It however relies on user rating input for tone quality so its very subjective. It is very useful as a benchmark tool if you have multiple earbuds/headphones to compare them to each other so you can hear what your missing when you select one over another.

Bad app

Not really what I wanted. Wanted one that I can change the hz and other stuff.

Not a Particularly Useful App

I compared my test results from three different headphones, a professional quality headphone, a high level consumer quality headphone, an inexpensive [but acceptably good] headphone. I also tested pair of Apple earbuds. All four devices were given a four star rating, Several tests were performed on each device.
